| kirby puckett is dead. i still remember when he hit a walk off home fun in the 11th inning of game six of the 1991 world series to force game 7. i remember him leading the twins to two world series. and i remember his wearing a fur coat while riding in the back of a convertible during the parade. im sad.

| i am really upset that the west wing was cancelled. now how am i supposed to pretend that Martin Sheen really is president and that Jimmy Smits will be elected soon. i don't want to live in the real world. the world on the west wing is better. stupid nbc.

| the walk from brooklyn to midtown wasn't as bad as i had anticipated. I got a ride over the Williamsburg Bridge, so that cut down on some walking time. i stopped on 23rd and 2nd to get a bagel and coffee and then kept on keeping on to 44th and 9th. Not so much looking forward to the walk home, but I can't afford a cab.
